Isaribi Japanese Robata Grill

There’s not quite a lot to say about Isaribi. Except that it’s really very close to a Toyko izakaya experience. A friend had pointed this place out to me as I was in search of kani miso locally…and they had it.

kani miso
So the gang decided to give it a try. We mostly had very fresh seafood and a mix of some meats. All grilled tabletop. Everything was very fresh and there’s really just some kind of satisfaction grilling your own food. The kani miso was, however, a little underwhelming.

ankimo (monkfish liver)
In any case, a very satisfying experience. A beer and highball kind of place and very casual. Plus you’ll smell like grilled fish and smoke after.
