Food Porn: Breaking Bread

Artisanal Bread from Breakfast at Antonio's

Freshly baked bread.

I try to avoid bringing my professional life into my on-line existence. But in this case, I had to make an exception.  I could not help but share the visual experience of these warm,  artisanal works of baking art.

The pictures were just too deliciously beautiful not to share.

Artisanal Bread from Breakfast at Antonio's

Chef  Tonyboy Escalante of  Antonio’s has just set up his own in-house bakery. To run his bakery, he hired Chef  Ven Amaro, a former associate of  pastry chef, Ernie Babaran of the International School for Culinary Arts and Hotel Management (ISCAHM).

And for those of you drooling to know, Breakfast at Antonio’s will soon be reopening at a new (well, sort of new) location and these lovely loaves will be available for sale there.

Patience.

Much thanks to At Maculangan

Editor’s Note: Franco occasionally consults with Antonio’s concerning creatives. He would be willing to work for food but food doesn’t always pay the bills.
